At Preston Ribble Methodist Circuit we care deeply about our work with children, youth and families. We offer a wide range of regular activities and special events at our churches throughout the year.
Messy Church is an international movement described as "a way of being church for all ages involving fun"! And our Messy Church sessions certainly bring lots of fun to everyone, including crafts, food and time together. Regular Messy Church sessions in our circuit take place at:
Christ Church: 3rd Saturday of the month, 3-5pm
Fulwood: 3rd Tuesday of the month, 5-7pm
Ingol: 2nd Thursday of the month, 5-6.30pm
Kingsfold: 4th Friday of the month, 6-8pm
Penwortham Bridge: 4th Monday of the month, 5.15-7pm
For more information, and to check that a Messy Church session is running, please see individual church notices.
Parents and Carers are always welcome to bring along the little ones to our baby and toddler groups. Grab a coffee and have a chat while your children play with a wide variety of toys in a friendly setting.
Ashton: Wednesdays, 10am-12noon
Bamber Bridge: Wednesdays, 9am
Fulwood: Fridays, 9.30-11am
Hope: Wednesdays, 2-3pm
Penwortham Bridge: Tuesdays, 1.30-3pm
We run groups for older children and young people as well. Games, music, food and fun! For more information, please contact Carolyn: carolyn.hothersall@hotmail.co.uk
Fulwood: Fridays, 6-8pm (Years 3-6)
Ingol: Sundays, 4-6pm (high school ages)
This runs once a term from Fulwood Methodist Church, in the local Highgate Woods. Activities include nature-themed crafts, scavenger hunts and acting out familiar Bible stories in the great outdoors. We have a twinkly prayer tent and there's an excellent climbing tree at our regular spot. For more information contact Sonia: pr_adm1n@outlook.com.
